Mission Statement:

The LLUXXALL Youth Board of Advisors (LYBA) is a prestigious platform for students who have successfully completed our etiquette training. This board offers a stage for leadership, communication, and service, allowing members to write, speak, and organize fundraisers while building an impressive portfolio for college applications.

Goals & Purpose:

  • Leadership Development – Cultivate confidence and public speaking skills.

  • Community Engagement – Lead and participate in fundraisers and social initiatives.

  • Professional Writing Experience – Publish articles on etiquette, social skills, and personal development on the LLUXXALL website.

  • Networking & Mentorship – Connect with like-minded peers and professionals in etiquette, business, and leadership.

  • College & Career Readiness – Gain experience in organizing events, collaborating, and giving back to the community, all valuable for college applications and future careers.

Structure & Roles

LYBA will consist of selected alumni who exhibit excellence, dedication, and leadership in etiquette and social skills.

Board Positions:

  • President: Leads meetings, represents LYBA at events, and oversees projects.

  • Vice President: Supports the President and ensures smooth execution of initiatives.

  • Content & Communications Chair: Oversees blog articles, social media presence, and PR.

  • Fundraising & Events Chair: Organizes fundraisers and charity events.

  • Membership & Recruitment Chair: Encourages student involvement and tracks engagement.

Membership Criteria:

To qualify, students must:

Have successfully completed LLUXXALL etiquette training.

Demonstrate leadership qualities and strong communication skills.

Be committed to writing, speaking, and organizing community events.

Dedicate a minimum number of hours per month to LYBA activities.

Key Activities:

Public Speaking & Workshops – Members share etiquette insights at schools, community centers, or online.
Website Contributions – Publish articles on topics like social grace, confidence, dining etiquette, and personal branding and development.
Fundraising Events – Organize charity galas, scholarship funds, or community outreach projects.
Networking & Special Guests – Meet etiquette experts, business leaders, and public figures.
Certificates & Recognition – Members receive certificates of achievement, letters of recommendation, and awards for outstanding contributions.

Step 2: Interview with the Selection Committee

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a 15-minute interview with the LYBA Selection Committee (including LLUXXALL faculty and current board members).
Interview Questions May Include:

  • How do you handle public speaking or leadership roles?

  • Describe a time you had to work in a team to achieve a goal.

  • What fundraising or community service experience do you have?

  • How will you balance LYBA responsibilities with your other commitments?

Step 3: Selection & Announcement

Decisions will be based on: Application strength, leadership potential, communication skills, and commitment to etiquette.
Accepted members will receive:

  • A Welcome Packet with official guidelines, expectations.

  • An LYBA Certificate of Membership upon completion of their term.

  • A Community Service Letter for college applications.
